Attention S FL-Michigan connection!

Someone fleeing a very bad domestic situation in Texas needs help in Michigan, just northeast of Lansing. They'll have refuge, but they can't take their cats. Neither can they leave the cats behind - it's too dangerous. See here for all the details. They'll need temporary housing for the cats, just for a little while.
