As a welcoming association, Unitarian Universalists [UU] value all individuals and their families. Today GLBT and immigrant families face discrimination and legal barriers in keeping their families together.

There will be testimonials and information on what we can do from Unitarian Universalists and members of Florida Immigrant Coalition, Equality Florida, Fairness for all Families, and Greater Ft. Lauderdale LGBT & Friends Interfaith Clergy.
Bring your family and learn about what we can do working together to value ALL families! Come witness and stand on the side of love! There will be music by the River of Grass UU Band, food vendors, and kid-friendly activities.
A state ballot Constitutional Amendment to outlaw same sex marriage will be on the November ballot. The amendment will ban all recognition and benefits for all unmarried couples, It will block civil unions, domestic partnership and repeal existing protections and family benefits relied upon by millions of Floridians.
