My Fatally Depressed Coworker won't read this long post

December 13th, 2007 (06:23 pm)
current location: break

My friend Jean, who is fantastic in many ways, now has a blog concerning life and resources for aunts (and by extension, uncles). I happen to know lots of aunts and uncles, so have a look, spread the word, comment - have a good time. This looks like a Really Neat Thing.

WTF, mate? These are wigs?!

In the old notes department ...

I really want this. It's fantastic!

If you like zombies and you like Kelly's "Shoes", you'll love "Brains".

reebar mentioned this to me recently - Jerry Miculek answers the question of just how fast is fast. Understand, that's a revolver; he's squeezing off every one of these rounds. I don't think I can twitch that fast.

Here's a nice Christmas song for you:

How in the world could I have missed Day of the Ninja - 5 December.

I did that handwriting thing the other day but I didn't get around to resizing it, so here it is, huge.

Also, I got an email from srini regarding this entry, back in the day. Add to studylist - have another read through Fuck Work and Cluetrain.

I've been wanting an interfaith or multifaith prayer book, especially one containing prayers for healing, for some time. The other night I did a quick search and came up with some promising possibles:

She Who Prays: A Woman's Interfaith Prayer Book

For Praying Out Loud: Interfaith Prayers for Public Occasions

Prayers for Healing: 365 Blessings, Poems, & Meditations from Around the World

God Has No Religion: Blending Traditions For Prayer

Life Prayers : From Around the World : 365 Prayers, Blessings, and Affirmations to Celebrate the Human Journey

And then there's this, just because it looks interesting. More for the studylist, I guess.
