Rear ended a hearse

On the way to work today, at an unusually early hour, I had a great deal of difficulty changing lanes. There wasn't an opportunity until a hearse went by me. The hyperactive lane-changers all around me didn't seem to want to be behind it, so the opportunity was mine. I touched a button and moved on in. How funny, I thought, if I now got into an accident and rear-ended a hearse. That made me wonder who else that might have happened to, which led me, of course, to Google, which then, as it usually happens, led to something completely different. Such as a lawyer hall of fame, Edifice Lex.

Fifty secrets

I received the below from my sassy sister. Some of these I have to give an Amen, as they've had a big effect in my own life. If you like, copy the list and add your own Amens - I'm using a ! to identify mine. The more !s, the bigger the Amen.

What would you like your epitaph to say? I think mine should say:
It was all for love.

A few more

The Challenge:

  • Post 3 things you've done in your lifetime that you don't think anybody else on your friends list has done.
  • See if anybody else responds with "I've done that." If they have, you need to add another! (2.b., 2.c., etc...)
  • Have your friends cut & paste this into their journal to see what unique things they've done in their life.

Mine:

1. Been officially male by royal proclamation (while being biologically female).
2. Taken a photograph that later was published in a print magazine.
2a. Run over my own cell phone with a bicycle.
3. Passed out at my own wedding.

Thanks, rhonan, for showing me this lovely thing. I doubt reebar would be interested in a non-functional firearm prop, but I find it gorgeous. Have to wonder if, somewhere, someone has created a functional one.

There's some good job energy going around lately, about which I am ecstatic. Congratulations, you several people! Now, everybody lets hum together and get the energy to engulf the rest of the job-seeking among us as well. Oooooooooohhhhmmmmm!
