Would you do meth if it was legalized?
Absolutely not.

Abortion: for or against?
Against.  Surprise, surprise.  Instead of making it illegal, though, I'd much rather make it unnecessary.  I very much like [info]rhonan's idea of making sterilization much more widely accessible for anyone who wants it.  I also want our medical technology to advance to the point of in vitro adoption.  Let people who can't conceive carry children who've already been conceived but who'd otherwise have a crappy life if born into their current situation.

There's a 2 month old child and a 65 year old man who has the cure for cancer but hasn't had a chance to announce it yet; one of them has to die... which one?
I can't agree more with [info]rhonan's answer.  The adult can choose; the child can't.  Ask him.  If I were forced to choose, it would have to be the adult.  The cure for cancer will have to wait until his estate is settled.

Would our country fall with a woman president?
As opposed to without one?  It's going to fall sooner or later, regardless.  I very much doubt having a female president would have anything to do with it.

Do you believe in the death penalty?

I believe it could be called for in the most rare of circumstances.

Do you wish marijuana would be legalized already?
Yes.  I don't want to consume it; I want to stop the rampant waste of my tax dollars.

Are you for or against premarital sex?
Neither.  That's an individual decision.  I am, however, very much for very comprehensive sex education, to include knowledge about enjoyment.

Do you think same sex marriage should be legalized?

No.  I don't think any marriage should be legalized.  I believe in civil unions for all, and putting the question of marriage back into our communities and houses of worship.  Marriage is for the church and civil union is for the state.

Do you think its wrong that so many Hispanics are moving to the USA?
No.

A 12 year old girl has a baby... should she keep it?
No.  Whether her family keeps it or not is a different matter.  The baby needs to be well taken care of, and so does the girl.  She also needs a buttload more education and birth control - another point I take from [info]rhonan.

Should the alcohol age be lowered to 18?

I don't think it matters.  If we don't teach our young people how to handle drink and how to detect if they are alcoholic and can't drink, age is entirely irrelevant.

Assisted suicide is illegal... do you agree?
Not real fond of the phrasing of the question, but I see what they're getting at.  It should be legal but under very strict circumstances, wherein it's entirely provable that the condition is fatal, the patient is in their right mind and wishes it, and the assistance is given by the doctor (no one else), preferably with more than one second opinion.

Do you believe in spanking your children?

No.  I do believe in consequences and penalties.  I am not a slack mom.

Would you burn an American flag for a million dollars?

Probably not, but it's hard to say.  It's a moving symbol, and I'm really sentimental about it.  But I've been in terribly needy circumstances, too, and would have burned a flag for the next month's rent, should the opportunity have arisen.  I'm certainly not inclined.

A mother is declared innocent after murdering her 5 children in a temporary insanity case... opinion?

That can't be temporary.  She'll likely need treatment, possibly institutionalization, for life.  I wouldn't want her near anyone's children again.

Are you afraid others will judge you from reading some of your answers?
I should hope they would.  We have to judge all the time, but probably what the questioner means has to do with the worth of a person.  Nobody can determine my worth, so it's nothing to worry about.  But I do expect people to always judge how close to get, what topics to discuss, what secrets to reveal, things like that.  It's how we protect ourselves.
